Resource Types Overview

Introduction

The eLearning system has a variety of different resource types, here's a quick overview of each of them from a teaching point-of-view. Click the "Show me" links to be given a list of all the resources of a particular type on the system.

Action songs

Full songs and backing tracks with lyrics, highlighted in time with the music to support classroom singing or instrumental playing.

Audio

Can't find the CD you need for a lesson? Don't panic, it's highly likely that the music you want is here. All the exemplar music referred to in national curriculum material and other recommended schemes of work is available here, at your finger tips.

Audio mixer

Virtual 4 or 6 track mixer, with pre-loaded samples that students can trigger on or off, adjust volume and pan left or right, to build a backing track for rehearsal, recording or performance.

Classic cartoon clips, stories and animated explanations of musical elements, ideal for engaging primary children.
