Basic and Full Access
Introduction
The Lesson Viewer can run in either of two modes: Basic access enables you to:
- View & Present your lessons
Full Access enables the above, in addition to:
- Download More Lessons
- Create Custom Lessons
- Renew or Delete Expired Lessons
- Bookmark Your Favourite Lessons
This guide will show you how to activate this functionality in your Lesson Viewer.
You will need to first copy the Lesson Viewer from the DVD provided onto your computer in order to enable Full Access. If you have downloaded the Lesson Viewer from this website onto your computer you do not need to perform this step.
Installing the Lesson Viewer in Windows XP/Vista
1) Copy files from the DVD
Insert the DVD into your computer and open My Computer. Double click on the DVD icon.
Click and drag a box around all the files and folders. Right click and select "Copy".
2) Paste the copied files onto your computer
Navigate to the folder on your hard drive or USB drive where you would like to save the Lesson Viewer. Right-click inside this folder and select "Paste".
The Lesson Viewer will now copy to your chosen location – please note that due to the amount of files being copied this process can take up to an hour.
Installing the Lesson Viewer in Mac OSX:
1) Copy files from the DVD
Insert the DVD into your computer and open Finder. Double-click the DVD icon in the devices column.
Click and drag a box around all the files and folders on the DVD. Hold the control (CTRL) key and click on the files. Select "Copy Items" from the menu that appears.
2) Paste the copied files onto your computer
In Finder, navigate to the folder on your hard drive or USB drive where you would like to save the Lesson Viewer. Hold the control key and click inside the folder. Select "Paste Items" from the menu that appears.
The Lesson Viewer will now copy to your chosen location – please note that due to the amount of files being copied this process can take up to an hour.
Logging In
Once the Lesson Viewer has finished copying, open it by double-clicking on the icon. You will then be asked to provide your website username and password. This will associate your login details with the Lesson Viewer, and log you in with Full Access.
You will only need to provide your password once – after this you will be able to log in using just your username.
